Stratus OCT
Optical Coherence Tomography is used to take very thin, microscopic sections of Retina-Macula and Optic Nerve Head. This is like studying live histopathlogical sections of any tissue. Many Retinal diseases can be diagnosed by using this scan (eg. Cystoid Macular Edema, Vitreomacular Traction, Pigment Epithelial Detachment and Early Glaucomatous changes)
